Working principle

The disc vacuum filter is composed of individual fan-shaped discs. Each fan-shaped plate is a separate filtering unit, which is made of filter cloth and covered on the fan-shaped plate to form a filter chamber. The filter disc is driven by a motor through a reducer and an open gear transmission. The filter disc rotates clockwise, and the slurry in the filter chamber adheres to the filter disc in the adsorption zone with the help of the pressure difference formed by the vacuum pump on both sides of the filter medium, forming a filter cake. The agitator rotates to prevent solid precipitation. After the filter cake leaves the liquid surface, it continues to remove water under the action of vacuum. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth, passes through the filtrate tube, and is discharged from the distribution head. The filter cake is discharged from the discharge area by a reverse air blower and falls into the discharge chute, and the entire operation process is continuously cycled.

The disc filter is currently widely used in the dewatering of concentrates such as copper, iron, gold, silver, tin, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel, cobalt, palladium, molybdenum, chromium, quartz, sulfur, phosphorus, coal, silicon, quartz, mica, tin soil, tailings dewatering, chemical industry zinc oxide, lead oxide, zinc sulfide, electrolytic slag, leaching slag, slag dewatering, and environmental pollution cement dewatering and waste acid treatment. The material fineness ranges from -60 mesh to -300 mesh, as well as conventional granular materials.
The disc vacuum filter has been optimized for overall performance and various components based on the characteristics of sludge and coal slurry dewatering. Especially with filter cloth as the filtering medium, a suitable filter cloth can improve the dewatering effect. This machine has the advantages of easy operation, continuous operation, good reliability, small footprint, and low investment. Mainly used for dewatering fine-grained materials in industries such as environmental protection (river sludge, hydropower station mud and sand, papermaking and pharmaceutical wastewater), mining, coal, building materials, chemical industry, etc.

Technical features
1.Taking into account some of the shortcomings of existing fan-shaped use, our filter fan has evenly distributed dewatering holes, reasonable porosity, high strength, and an increased service life of 1-1.5 times. At the same time, the effective area of the filter fan is large, which improves the processing capacity of the filter machine.

2.The cross-section of the filtrate tube is large, and the abdominal volume of the distribution head is large, which improves the pumping rate and filtrate discharge effect.

3.The interface between the filtrate tube and the filter fan is welded with a special mold to avoid any possible leakage points.

4. Using specially made boron ground cast iron friction plates, the combination of rigidity and flexibility has a good sealing effect, and the service life can reach more than ten years.

5.The automatic cleaning device for filter cloth maintains its good dewatering effect.

6.Horizontal variable speed mixing, with PTFE combination seal at the shaft end, water seal, and packing seal; Multiple sealing methods are used to effectively prevent slurry leakage.

7.The main drive variable frequency speed regulation adjusts according to the concentration and flow rate of the material to achieve good working results.

8.The filter fan has been changed from 36 ° to 18 °, and each plate consists of 20 fan-shaped plates, which strengthens the control of the filtration process and ensures uniform cake thickness.

9.Use one filter fan and one pressure plate, with tile buckles between the pressure plates to press and position the filter fan in a plane, reducing the workload of maintenance personnel when replacing the filter fan or filter cloth and lowering labor intensity.

10.The dry oil pump is equipped with centralized multi-point automatic lubrication to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

11.Based on the characteristics of the material, a dual composite form of mechanical and air stirring or one of them is adopted to overcome the phenomenon of material precipitation.

12.It can be equipped with independent cake making and drying areas, which use strong vacuum to lower the moisture content of the cake compared to regular machines.
